Notes for Amnesiacs

When they vociferously deny it over and over and over again, what they are denying is almost certainly true.

Governments lie all the time. They especially lie about war -- wars to come, present war, and wars of the past. Mainstream media dutifully repeat and amplify the lies (rule three).

Meanwhile, a great many people, including most journalists, need to study some history and try to recover the lost memories of the very recent past. After detailed and exhaustive scientific study, I now estimate that no more than 650 Americans have been awake and actually paying attention for the last five years.

My innate and unshakable generosity and benevolence may well have led me subconsciously to inflate the real number justified by the research.
