An Unfortunate Interruption

As I regrettably have had to note occasionally in the past, the combination of bad health and poverty has led to circumstances that make writing all but impossible for the moment. I will spare you the details, and myself the humiliation of offering a more detailed description. Saying even this much publicly is considerably more than I would prefer.

But I had been about to begin what I hoped would be some major new essays. Such a sustained effort is entirely beyond my capabilities for the time being. I hope to return to that work in several days, but it's always impossible to predict how long these episodes will last. I'll be back as soon as possible.
